Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Québec Celebrates its One-Year Anniversary

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Québec marks its first full year of operation as part of one of the world’s largest multinational real estate brokerage franchise networks, with more than 50,000 agents in 1500 offices across the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and India. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Québec is an independently owned and operated franchise of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, one of the world’s fastest-growing residential real estate brokerage franchise networks, with more than 50,000 real estate professionals in 1,500 offices throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, with India, and a total sales volume of more than $138 billion USD.

The Québec brokerage was a start-up, unlike other foreign franchises where established businesses are converted to the brand. “I had a vision and a dream when I got my first call in November 2019,” says Sacha Brosseau, the company’s founder and CEO. After more than 15 years in the industry, I wanted to bring something to the province that I believed the public needed and deserved: a well-known international brand that can service every segment of the market without a doubt, where brokers collaborate and are invested in each other’s success.

Brosseau considers a community to be one of the most important aspects of his brokerage, referring to each employee as a “family member.” He invited his long-time friends and former colleagues, Gabriele Di Iorio, Chief Brokerage Officer, and John Di Pietro, Chief Development Officer, to join him in leading the new brokerage in April 2020, ahead of its May launch. With an inside view of the operations of thousands of organisations and interactions with tens of thousands of real estate professionals, I can always predict the performance of, and then calculate the results achieved, by one marker: the level of leadership at the helm of a company, said Chris Stuart, President and CEO Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

The Québec team is not only enthusiastic, but also optimistic about the company’s future as it celebrates a prosperous first year of operations. “Our citizens and partnerships are our greatest assets. This is a relationship-based company, and we work hard to keep those relationships strong everywhere we can; locally, nationally, and internationally.”

Québec was a strategic business move for us last year as we looked to extend our global presence in North America,” said Michael Jalbert, EVP Business Development, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. Sacha Brosseau not only shares our core values of trust, integrity, stability, and sustainability, but he also has the drive and vision to create one of the most successful real estate brokerages in the country. After navigating a year of unknowns, Sacha and his team have created something truly remarkable that will undoubtedly serve as an inspiration to our entire network. We are delighted to have Sacha and his team as part of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, and we look forward to seeing the continued success they will achieve.”
