The announcement by Juniper Networks which is a leader in secure, AI-driven networks said that they are designing and deploying a network whose capacity and expansion will be upgraded by Telecom Egypt.
It has been designed to serve a customer base of 9.8M with fixed line services, 6.9M with broadband and 7.3M for mobile services. The sustained exponential growth which is in move of bandwidth demand and service quality expectations that are faced by Telecom Egypt, coupled its ongoing pursuit of a programme which transforms digitally and results in an important role for Egyptian Government’s Digital Egypt and ICT 2030 initiatives.
Juniper’s latest deployment is a development principle for Telecom Egypt whose work is to invest in a personalised, motorised high-performance network which will scale with infallible service experience in step with exponential extension and future demands.
The disposition is an automated and flexible configuration that will accumulate, analyse, elucidate and give responses in contrast to data which is real and will reports its own health and traffic patterns.
The result of this Telecom Egypt will wield much more efficiency and effectiveness to cost as well as to product.
This will also deliver an experience that would be exceptional for the customers, business and residential fields.
Meeting the booming bandwidth capacity requirements of Egypt is harsh and for this the network will be equipped with 400G interfaces from the purpose of Juniper building an IP transport portfolio with the help of custom silicon that will deliver high solidity, authentic data throughput and will also enable low cost-per-bit. Juniper’s standards-based automation portfolio will be completing this, which delivers a higher-ranking functioning portfolio experience along with an assured end-user experience. The 400G routing portfolio and the automation portfolio together will be delivering the ability for Telecom Egypt to give way to its digital transformation strategy which is based on best class performance and the experiences of users.
Mohamed Alfowey the Chief Technology Officer of Telecom Egypt said “Telecom Egypt has a believe that the key competitive differentiator is to responding to the changing customer needs, so the key is improved infrastructure agility. A faster, more resilient and foreboding network, in the context enables Telecom Egypt to deliver this and meet SLAs of remote working trends and demand that is skyrocketing for the cloud-driven, 5G-ready, data-rich applications and services also controlling the operational cost and entanglement. The believe that the innovations of Juniper in cloud routing and network automation will help us get the better of the challenge now and also for the long term and will enable us to deliver an exceptional end-user experience.”
Raj Yavatkar, Chief Technology Officer of Juniper Networks “The challenge faced by Telecom Egypt is shared by many service providers globally – how to run their network ever ‘hotter’ and faster while meeting customer SLAs and maintaining predictability and resilience, yet controlling operational cost and complexity. Juniper believes that our innovations in cloud routing and network automation help to overcome this challenge now and for the long term. Telecom Egypt is investing in a dynamic, customisable high-performing automated infrastructure that is able to scale upward and outward in step with exponential growth and future demands.”
